Undoubtedly one of the world’s most stylish female surfers, seven times World Surfing Champion Stephanie Gilmore is an unlikely collector of all things that sparkle. Yet it seems the awarded athlete (she won the Laureus World Sports Award in 2010 and ESPN ESPY for Best Female Action Sports Athlete in 2011 and 2013) has a penchant for fashion and a beautiful collection of pieces accumulated from her travels around the world.
An inspiring woman who has set her own path, Stephanie spends her days away from the tour travelling the globe, exploring new waves, cities and beaches, photographing her adventures, playing her many guitars, and living the gypset lifestyle. She also has a love for helping others, which has seen her work with the Couer de Foret Foundation implementing water wells in Senegal, and throw her support behind World Vision, sponsoring children in Kenya and Ethiopia. Stephanie also lead the WSL to achieve equal pay for women - one of the first international sporting organisations to do. Stephanie is all about empowering women.
Set to represent Australia in the upcoming 2021 Tokyo Olympics, Stephanie has the world at her feet and we couldn’t be more excited to share in her journey.
